Babysitter Training

This cohort is taught live online. You join by video with an instructor teaching in real time, so there is nowhere to drive to. Anyone in Canada can take it. You will need a device with a camera and a quiet spot to practise. There are 3 sessions and all are required to complete the course and receive the certificate. Your joining link lives in your Delta account, on this course, and we email it to the address you register with. Sign in a few minutes early: the link is not sent by text and is not posted publicly.

Want a private course on your own date and site? Request group training and we’ll quote it: private dates carry their own logistics and pricing, so they’re arranged with a person, not a button.

You’ll name your attendees after payment, from a link in your confirmation email — no need to have everyone’s details now. More than 12 people means a second instructor, and an invoice instead of card payment is always available: email us and we’ll set either up directly.

A Canadian Red Cross requirement for this course. Designed for young people aged about 11–15. The Red Cross also accepts a completed Grade 5 instead of the age. If that is your learner, email us and we will register them.

Policies & consent

Photography in class: we photograph and film courses for our website and social media, and we aim the camera at hands and skills, not faces. Nobody appears identifiably without being asked in person first, and you can stay out of frame entirely, just tell your instructor. Details are in the policies above.

Your seat is held for 30 minutes. Once you start, we hold your place while you pay. If the payment is not finished in 30 minutes the seat goes back on sale and you will need to start again.
