Our Red Cross EMR course is a prerequisite that is accepted for Primary Care Paramedic (PCP) certification by Lakeland College (Vermilion), Emergency Services Academy (Sherwood Park), and Northern Lakes College (Slave Lake) and applications for Edmonton Fire and Calgary Fire. Past students have been hired with Edmonton/Calgary Fire departments.

The minimum pre-requisite for EMR is a valid Intermediate First Aid (Standard First Aid) certificate. You can register for EMR to hold your spot, but you must complete an IFA/SFA course prior to your EMR start date.
