For companies
Annual Training
Program
A year of first aid and emergency response training for your company, bought once. Days on your site, seats in our classes, every certificate tracked, your dates held.
What it is
Most companies book first aid training one course at a time, when somebody notices a certificate is about to expire. An annual program turns that into one decision a year. We look at your site and your people, put the year together, and you accept it on a page of your own. Then the dates are held, the training happens, and the records keep themselves.
What a year can include
- Red Cross certification days on your site: Standard First Aid, Intermediate First Aid, recertifications, Basic Life Support.
- Scenario and skills days built around your own hazards: entrapment, falls, severe bleeding, chemical exposure, cardiac arrest on the floor.
- Seats in our public classes in Calgary and Leduc, for new hires and the odd expiry between visits.
- Advanced First Aid delivered on site in blocks that fit your operation.
- Your company's Delta Command account on its top tier: every certificate, expiry and worksite in one place, with us keeping it current.
- Continuity tools between visits: an onboarding pack for new hires, short shift drills your leads can run, a leadership summary after each visit.
- Your dates held on our calendar for the year, and the same instructor as far as we can manage it.
How it works
- You tell us where you are, how many people, and what they need. We ask a few questions.
- We send you a private page with your program on it: the year, what it would cost booked one course at a time, and the program price.
- You accept on that page. One invoice for the year is issued, net 30. Your Delta Command account moves to its top tier the same day.
- We pick the dates together and hold them. Training runs, certificates land in Command, and the next year is a conversation, not a scramble.
Why companies do it
- One number for the year, known in advance, and less than booking the same training piece by piece.
- Nothing lapses. Expiries are tracked and the training is already scheduled.
- Dates that are yours before anyone else can take them.
- An instructor who knows your site, your equipment and your people, so each visit builds on the last.
- A safety record you can hand to an auditor without preparing it first.
- Teams that have practised together respond better when something real happens, and they know it.
Questions companies ask
- Who is an annual training program for?
- Companies that train people every year and would rather plan it once: mills, plants, construction, utilities, municipalities, camps, anywhere with first aiders on shift and certificates that expire on a schedule. It works from about a dozen employees up.
- What can a year include?
- Red Cross certification days on your site, scenario and skills days built around your own hazards, seats in our public classes in Calgary and Leduc for new hires and odd expiries, Advanced First Aid delivered on site in blocks, and your company's Delta Command account on its top tier so every certificate, expiry and worksite is tracked and renewed in time.
- How is it priced?
- By your site, headcount and the mix of training, so there is no price list on this page. We look at what your people need, put a program together, and send you a private page that shows the year, what it would cost booked one course at a time, and the program price. The program is always less than booking the same training one at a time.
- What if we do not use every day?
- Dates are picked together by March 31 and held on our calendar. A day you do not use in the year stays good until March 31 of the following year. If we ever cancel a day it is rebooked or credited, your choice.
- Is Delta Command included?
- Yes, on its top tier, for everyone covered by the program. Your training contact sees every certificate with its expiry date, who is due at 90, 60 and 30 days, your worksites, kits and AEDs, and books more training on account without calling us.
- Do we have to be near Calgary?
- No. We are based in Calgary and Leduc and travel across Alberta for site days. Travel is built into the program price for your location, so there are no surprises on the invoice.
- How do we pay?
- One invoice per contract year, issued when you accept, net 30, by direct deposit. Many companies pay the coming year's program before December 31 from the current year's budget.
- How do we start?
- Tell us where you are, roughly how many people you have and what they need, in the form below. We come back within one working day with questions, then with your private program page.
