This package provides jurisdictional recognition only. It does not replace hands-on training or extend certification validity.

When paired with a valid, non-expired Canadian first aid certificate, this package:

  • Bridges credentials between provinces and territories

  • Supports recognition under local workplace safety legislation

  • Is commonly accepted by employers as a basic workplace first aid equivalency, depending on role and jurisdiction

Important:

  • Acceptance is determined by the employer and local regulator

  • The OOJ certificate expiry matches the expiry date of your existing first aid certificate
