Out of Jurisdiction Package

This package is intended for individuals who:
Hold a current, non-expired Canadian first aid certificate

Need documentation aligned with local occupational health and safety expectations
Common use cases include:
Workers relocating between provinces
Industrial and remote site workers
Film, events, and contract safety personnel
Employers onboarding out-of-province staff
What This Package Does
The Out-of-Jurisdiction (OOJ) Bridging Package links your existing Canadian first aid certification to the workplace health and safety requirements of the province or territory where you are seeking employment.
This package provides jurisdictional recognition only. It does not replace hands-on training or extend certification validity.
Jurisdictional Recognition
When paired with a valid, non-expired Canadian first aid certificate, this package:
Bridges credentials between provinces and territories
Supports recognition under local workplace safety legislation
Is commonly accepted by employers as a basic workplace first aid equivalency, depending on role and jurisdiction
Important:
Acceptance is determined by the employer and local regulator
The OOJ certificate expiry matches the expiry date of your existing first aid certificate
